The Best Show You’re Not Watching: True Blood

A lot cooler than it sounds.

“True Blood” is awesome. Think civil rights movement transposed onto a race of recently emerged vampires. Think deep south Bayou prejudice with a Dracula twist. ”True Blood” is camp mixed with thriller, lots of sex with that girl from “The Piano” thrown in (Anna Paquin, looking much hotter than a few years ago in ”X-Men”). HBO is so confident about the show and its progression that it has already renewed the series for a second season, citing a 24% increase in viewership for the second episode. While I probably didn’t do the show justice by explaining it, just tune in. You’ll understand later. Check the trailer out below.
